Granite waterwalls line the western edge of the north and south sitting gardens. Their sculpted forms provide the sense of constant motion, and the sound of gently dripping water provides a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of Woodward Avenue. Lush perennial plantings flower and behind the walls.

Woodward Fountain

A world class fountain with approximately 100 water jets, active year-round, will be the centerpiece of Campus Martius Park. A raised central plinth contains jets that can shoot water in excess of 100 feet into the air while water shimmers and cascades down granite walls into the basin below. Water also cascades down perimeter steps while jets arc in from the corners. Light and music add drama during choreographed performances.
